Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Day1

    Watamu → Masai Mara

Pick-up around 7 for Malindi airport. Flight at 8:30 (about two hours), landing in the reserve around 11 and straight into the jeep for a game drive. Around 12:30 check-in at the riverside lodge (bring a copy of your passport), lunch and rest. Afternoon safari until sunset, dinner and overnight.

  2. Day2

    Masai Mara, full day

At first light we set out for a full day in the reserve, which borders the Serengeti and forms one ecosystem with it. It's famous for its big lion prides, cheetahs, the hippos of the Mara and Talek rivers and the wildebeest and zebra migration. Picnic lunch near the river, then a drive back towards the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

  3. Day3

    Masai Mara → Watamu

Breakfast, a last game drive, then the airstrip for the flight back to Malindi and transfer to your resort.
