Frequently asked questions

What is Salt Lick Safari Lodge like?

It's the lodge on stilts inside the Taita Hills sanctuary: raised rooms linked by walkways, above a waterhole where elephant, buffalo and antelope come to drink day and night. It's one of the most photographed nights on coast safaris.

Classic Tsavo East or the Taita Hills version?

Classic Tsavo East gives you more game-drive hours in the big park. The Taita Hills version adds a different landscape and the night on stilts. Both are great for a first safari — pick the lodge you like best.
