Blue Safari in Watamu
The safari of the sea. A full day on a glass-bottom boat with mask and fins in Watamu Marine Park, one of the most beautiful on the coast. Grilled lobster and prawns for lunch on a sand island, and the mangrove forest in the afternoon.

We set off by boat in the morning. Through the glass bottom you already see the coral; then we stop and snorkel among colourful reef fish. Masks and fins are on board.
Lunch on the island: lobster, prawns and very fresh grilled fish. In the afternoon the boat heads into the heart of the mangrove forest, home to herons, storks and, in season, flamingos. Back at your hotel in the late afternoon.
Depending on the tide and what you like, the day can include other stops: the beach, the "island of love", the sandbanks that appear at low tide. Just tell us when you book.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Blue Safari good for children?
Yes. Families with kids do it often: the boat is stable and snorkelling happens in shallow, calm water.
Do I need to swim to snorkel?
It helps but isn't required: you can watch the reef through the glass bottom and swim close to shore.
